Challenge

A work concept, build on trust.

How might we build trust between shippers, drivers, and Uber Freight by ensuring transparency, reducing financial uncertainty, and making shipping more reliable.

Process

User and business in mind.

Working as part of a design team, we conducted user research, interviews and behavioural analysis to understand how emotional states influence decision-making in food choices. Persona developed guided the design approach and engaged in prototyping and iterative guerrilla testing focused on creating an intuitive, frictionless interaction that simplifies the ordering process by addressing hunger levels directly.

Solution

A feature connecting shivers need for transparency and drivers need for reliability.

Transparent cost expectations for shippers lead to less complaints after the shipment process, than lead to less delays in driver payments. A win-win solution that gives control and trust to customers, whether shippers or drivers and improves Uber Freight customer service as a complex system.
